Lafooco: Keeping production running with the motto: 'Three on-site'

At the factory, to ensure the physical and mental health of its workers, the company conducted the Covid-19 testing for the employees, all were negative. At the same time, it has encouraged workers to voluntarily stay at the factory after work, arranging temporary accommodation for them, following government guidance about distancing measures on production and rest. The company also provides meals, accommodations, ensuring a good living condition for workers staying at the factory, as a result, this is a great relief for them when complying with the regulations and performing their duties during the implementation of the “three on-site" measure. For people who work in the office, instead of being physical at work, they can now work from home. In some cases, if it is impossible to work remotely, they can stay at the factory under the same 3 on-site measures.

Before that, since the pandemic started to break out in early May 2021, the company has seriously followed the 5K motto of the Ministry of Health. To standardize a proper procedure, it openly discussed anti-epidemic measures and guidance on how to implement them both at work and at home with its employees. Accordingly, the employees must have their body temperature checked, wear facemasks and daily conduct health declarations through ‘Bluezone’ application or in paper at the company's entry. Member units of The PAN Group also disinfect prominent places to ensure best hygiene conditions for staff, avoid mass gathering, and maintain a safe distance of at least two metres between individuals at work place. Upholding the spirit of proactively adaptation to the anti-epidemic measures, Lafooco is determined to maintain its production scheduling, ensuring timely response to the needs of customers and partners in both domestic and international markets as well as exporting its leading products such as nutritional nuts and dried fruits.
